How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. On iPhone, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.

Is my data private?

Journal entries and questionnaire answers are stored locally on your device by default. Limited progress metadata can sync for account recovery. AI coaching sends your message and limited recent context through a secure proxy when you ask the Centurion for help. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

I lost my streak. Can it be restored?

PHALANX is built on honesty. Streaks cannot be manually restored. If you believe a technical error caused a streak reset, contact us with your account details and we will investigate.

Is the Centurion a real therapist?

No. The Centurion is an AI coach designed to provide supportive strategies and coping techniques. It is not a substitute for professional therapy, counselling, or medical care. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline.

What self-tracking questionnaires does the app use?

PHALANX includes three optional self-report questionnaires: the PHQ-9 (mood), GAD-7 (anxiety), and PPCS-6 (compulsive behavior patterns). These are self-tracking tools only and do not constitute a clinical diagnosis.

How do I request my data or delete my account?

Email support@phalanxapp.com with the subject line "Data Request" or "Account Deletion". We will process your request within 7 business days. You can also use the direct Delete Account page.
